Durathane is a low V.O.C. waterbourne coating FinishedWood.Com uses as a clear coat on its paneling. Durathane is also a great flooring finish with maximum durability without the odor and off-gassing of similar products.

White Pine: Most common interior paneling product, white pine is both economical and durable for interior use. Finishes penetrate very well as it is a very softwood product. White pine is a knotty product with knot sizes that vary from pinhole to tennis ball size. White pine has a medium waste factor.
Spruce: Very popular for its consistent color and smaller tight knots. Spruce is slightly more stable than white pine. Spruce takes stain very well and more consistently.

Red Cedar: Great for clear Durathane to enhance the natural variance of western red cedar. Choose from a standard tight knot grade or a clear grade.
